• Once installation is complete, you will be receiving your Broadband Internet connection via a wireless radio, or (CPE - Customer Premise Equipment) This radio sends and receives its connection to one of our towers which links to our main "pipe". 
• No phone lines are required for this service. It is all done via RF communications on one of several frequencies.
• No other ISP providers are needed. We handle the entire process.
• This is NOT Satellite Broadband. It has none of the negative traits that come with satellite service.
• Rain, fog, snow, and ice do not effect this system. It works on a short range microwave frequencies so weather has little to no effect.
• Connection is always on! There are no dial-in, or log-ons.
• A simple IP number is assigned to each customer radio and the radio issues the customers PC/Router a IP address Automatically. No software is needed to be installed with this service! ****
• Our very powerful firewalls help protect you and the network.
• You can have as many PC's hooked up to this service as you want in your home or business.
• Xbox, and other game systems work with this system very well.
• Since this is an wireless LAN connection, all two way communications work better than many other providers out there. This includes online gaming, VPN's for connecting to servers for working at home, VOiP, and remote desktop functions.

• Mechcom Dot Net wireless broadband is for those of you who just need more speed than what dial-up can offer. 
• Our "standard" wireless broadband package is set up to normally provide 1,500kbit down, and 300kbit up. Yes that's 1.5mb down.
•  ***  Our firewalls will manage bandwidth based on many factors. One of which is overall customer load. If the over all network statistics are in normal parameters, then the over all bandwidth provided to each customers may be increased to exceed the 1.5mb. (Otherwise known as "bursting")
• **** If our firewalls detect virual activity, or p2p file sharing while network loads are high, those customers with those issues will be given last priority on the network in regards to speed. (throttled for periods of time)

• As mentioned before, a site survey is needed to ensure signal strength in your area. This is a free service. There are a few ways to set this up.
